This must have been too good to be true.... Parents in law are here for a visit (hopefully a long one) and a pair of my favourite niece and nephew tag along too. The most important person are that niece and nephew for they provide endless entertainment to Amri. Needless to say, hubby and I are able to sit down side by side and conduct a decent conversation (only to realise that we have forgotten how to converse 2 ways) without having a commercial break every few seconds.
Adam, on the other hand, has doting grandparents to fuss all over him plus he was too fascinated by the commotion coming from Amri, Alif and Syawani to notice that ibu and ayah were around. For a change, I managed to last for hours without my hair getting into tangled mess, my shirt turning into something not unlike kitchen rag and been able to read pages of mag without getting it torn apart mercilessly.
Hoorayyy for grandparents (and niece and nephew)!!!!!!
