It was supposed to be an equinox day today. Sure, I am very aware of it but I think the media sort of overplayed the issue. So what if it was hot today? Heat stroke???? Fat chance! This is Malaysia, a tropic country. Equinox or no, it was already boiling hot. Today would just be another hot and sweaty day. To help pushing up the temperature were MBSA workers under strict order from their bosses to chop down oxygen producing trees and replace with plastic coconut trees.
The kids and I played outdoor as usual. It is most unlikely for the already sunburnt boys to suddenly collapse of heatstroke. Unless it was 20 degrees on Sunday and suddenly 40 degrees on Monday. As it is, it had been over 37 degress for days...or was it weeks.
