Siddiq#3

This is the gentlest of my Siddiqs. No speeding around on his bicycle, jumping into drains or climbing up the walls. Very prim and proper. Never came home looking like something the cat dragged in, which were the norms for his brothers.

But that is not to say that he escaped without his fair share of bruises and scrapes. He was pretty brave about it too. Not crying until he was safely back inside hotel room. Seen here with the latest knee injury after mini ATV accident. In which he hit Adam's ATV, not the other way round. He escaped unscatched during first tumble after speeding around a sharp corner but not so lucky the second time :)

Ah well...the joy of being 6.

2015 is Adam's athletic year

After his debut at MSSS Aquatic earlier this year, Adam surprised us with his other hidden talents at APSS sport day track events. And i have to admit, he is pretty good. With a bit more training plus mummy a little more strict about junk food, he can be next year school runner.

He was seriously happy basking in the aftermath of it, even though yellow house ended up with 3rd place. We even let him skip his swimming assessment that night so that he could spend more time enjoying his time of glory.

Win or no, i was really impressed yellow house drum performance. Ustaz Admad is really talented. That was Adam - on Ustaz's right hand side. Good to know that all those drumming lessons at school were not wasted :)

 

2015 MSSS Aquatic

Adam's first try. Never thought he would qualify but he did. Good exposure for him. He will be better prepared next year.
