Viral Indoor Plant - Pokok Lidah Jin aka Snakeplant

This plant, together with its pot came together with this house. So its been around for more than 12 years. Usually shoved into that corner unless bibik felt like moving it. Which she rarely did as the plant has grown a lot and became rather heavy. So it was pretty much neglected and overlooked. Until recently.

Due to MCO and being forced to stay indoor, people started potting around in the house and either becoming masterchefs or gardeners or both. A small pot of snakeplant now could cost RM20/pot and online sellers were making a fortune.

I'm thinking of repotting it into something nicer, as befit its new status 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And maybe moving it to a more prominent place? Coming out of its hiding corner after a dozen years.

Risk - i might kill it during repotting. Green thumb i am not!

APSS 2016 Best Sportman

I was wrong when i said 2015 was Adam's athletic year here

2015 was just a beginning. 2016 is his glory year, his athletic self showing up full force. After his shocking debut in MSSD Track & Field, his effort at MSSS Aquatic MSSD Football and brilliant performance during APSS Annual Athletic Meet, no one was surprised when he was crowned The Best Sportman. My only surprise was when he managed to get gold for long jump as well, which he never shown any interest at previously. But then, for someone with that set of long legs, long jump is probably piece of cake.

With 2016 Best Sportgirl - Trisya, whom is also our neighbour. Must be something in BJ water supply, that turns these kids into good looking sprinters :)

Congrats kiddos. You both were spectacular.

The Yellow Falcon!

I hope that Adam will continue running and swimming for his school for the next 5 years, and have fun while doing it. It was not easy for him, with numerous bone conditions to deal with, training schedule that clashes with classes and academic expectation to achieve but he did it anyway. Know that ayah and mummy will always be with you, Adam. 

Siddiq#3

This is the gentlest of my Siddiqs. No speeding around on his bicycle, jumping into drains or climbing up the walls. Very prim and proper. Never came home looking like something the cat dragged in, which were the norms for his brothers.

But that is not to say that he escaped without his fair share of bruises and scrapes. He was pretty brave about it too. Not crying until he was safely back inside hotel room. Seen here with the latest knee injury after mini ATV accident. In which he hit Adam's ATV, not the other way round. He escaped unscatched during first tumble after speeding around a sharp corner but not so lucky the second time :)

Ah well...the joy of being 6.

2015 is Adam's athletic year

After his debut at MSSS Aquatic earlier this year, Adam surprised us with his other hidden talents at APSS sport day track events. And i have to admit, he is pretty good. With a bit more training plus mummy a little more strict about junk food, he can be next year school runner.

He was seriously happy basking in the aftermath of it, even though yellow house ended up with 3rd place. We even let him skip his swimming assessment that night so that he could spend more time enjoying his time of glory.

Win or no, i was really impressed yellow house drum performance. Ustaz Admad is really talented. That was Adam - on Ustaz's right hand side. Good to know that all those drumming lessons at school were not wasted :)
